Overview
The Middle Atlantic BK2018C is an external elbow cover fitting designed for the Middle Atlantic Plugmold 2000 raceway system. It provides a finished, enclosed appearance at external elbow transitions — the junction points where raceway runs change direction on wall surfaces. In commercial installations where exposed cable management is visible to occupants or subject to accidental contact, a proper cover fitting keeps the run looking intentional and protects the elbow joint from physical interference. The BK2018C ships in black to match standard 2000-series raceway components and is TAA-compliant, making it suitable for federal, state, and education projects with domestic-sourcing requirements.
Compatibility
The BK2018C is specific to the Plugmold 2000 series raceway external elbow fitting. It is not interchangeable with 500, 700, or 3000-series Plugmold covers — raceway families use family-specific cover geometry. Verify your installed raceway is the 2000 series before ordering. This cover fits the external (convex-corner) elbow variant; internal elbow transitions require a separate cover part number. Finish is black; installations using ivory or other color Plugmold components will require the corresponding color variant rather than the BK2018C.
