Where a cable run meets an outside corner — at a wall edge, structural column, or perimeter conduit transition — this fitting maintains the enclosed raceway profile rather than leaving cables exposed at the bend. The 2318 ships in ivory to match the 2300-series base and cover, keeping the installation visually consistent in finished commercial spaces such as lobbies, corridors, and office environments. TAA-compliant construction makes it a viable option for federal installations and government-funded projects subject to TAA procurement requirements.

Compatibility

The 2318 is purpose-built for the Middle Atlantic 2300-series non-metallic raceway family. It pairs specifically with the 2300 base and cover components at external (outside) corner transitions. Confirm your installed raceway is the 2300 series before ordering — the 2300-series fittings are not interchangeable with Middle Atlantic's 500, 700, or 2200-series raceways. For internal corner transitions in the same series, a separate internal elbow fitting is required. This fitting is ivory only; installations using a different color variant of the 2300 series will need the corresponding color-matched elbow. Integrators running cable management through security or AV infrastructure can pair this with compatible raceway and cord covers for a complete channel system.
