The STI KIT-AP2100-Y is a yellow, notched replacement shell designed to protect larger weather-exposed devices, extending their operational life and reliability. It fits over existing devices, providing a robust polycarbonate cover.
This replacement shell is specifically designed for the STI-1250 and STI-3150 Weather Stopper II models. It is also compatible with the original Stopper II series (STI-1200, STI-1230, STI-1100, and STI-1130), ensuring a secure fit over manual call points and similar alarm devices.
Installation involves positioning the frame over the device, marking and drilling four 7mm holes for mounting. A weather gasket is then placed over the device before securing the frame with the provided screws. For surface installations, unused cable entry holes can be blanked off using the inserts attached to the spacer. Appropriate cable gaskets should be selected based on the wiring system.
