STI KIT-AP2100-BZA Replacement Shell
Overview
The STI KIT-AP2100-BZA is a replacement polycarbonate shell and frame designed for the STI Weather Stopper II series. This component provides robust protection for manual fire alarm call points and other exposed devices against harsh environmental conditions, vandalism, and accidental operation. It is specifically intended for applications where extending the operational life and reliability of larger, weather-exposed devices is critical, such as outdoor installations or industrial environments. The tough, tamper-proof construction helps prevent false alarms while ensuring legitimate device access is not restricted.
Compatibility
This replacement shell kit is designed for the STI-1250 and STI-3150 Weather Stopper II models. It is not compatible with the standard Stopper II series or other brands of manual call points.
Installation Notes
Installation requires marking and drilling four fixing holes using a 7mm masonry drill bit. A weather gasket is included and should be positioned over the device before securing the frame with the provided screws. For surface installations, inserts are provided to blank off unused cable entry holes. Ensure the appropriate cable gasket is selected for the wiring system.
