Overview
The STI-3150CP6 is a 6-pack of Weather Stopper® surface-mount protective covers designed to shield manual fire alarm pull stations from unauthorized activation and physical damage. Each cover features a clear, durable plastic window for visibility while deterring unwanted access. The surface-mount configuration accommodates pull stations ranging from 5.5 inches to 6.75 inches in height and width, making it suitable for retrofit installations on existing flush-mounted or surface-mounted stations. This product addresses a critical facility management need: protecting life safety devices without compromising response time or visibility.
Compatibility
The STI-3150CP6 covers fit standard manual pull stations within the 5.5" to 6.75" range. Surface-mount installation means the cover mounts directly over the face of the pull station. For pull stations exceeding these dimensions or installed at depths greater than 3/4 inch, a spacer installation is required—longer mounting screws and knock-out provisions are included to accommodate surface-mounted or oversized stations. Neoprene gaskets are available as optional accessories for enhanced weatherproofing in outdoor environments, though not included in the base 6-pack.
Installation Notes
Surface mounting requires standard fastening to the wall or mounting surface adjacent to the pull station. The spacer system allows installation over stations up to 2.75 inches in depth; as depth increases, the allowable station face dimensions decrease (for example, a 2.75" deep station is limited to 3" wide × 5.5" high). Knock-out provisions at the top or bottom of the spacer simplify conduit routing. For outdoor deployments, neoprene gaskets install behind the spacer and/or frame perimeter to seal against weather infiltration. Optional 9VDC-powered warning horn capability is available but requires separate battery integration.
