Overview
The STI-3002 is a weather gasket engineered to seal the installation point of Stopper II and Weather Stopper series electric strikes in outdoor and semi-exposed door access control deployments. Moisture infiltration at strike mounting locations degrades solenoid performance, corrodes terminals, and accelerates failure in exposed environments. This gasket sits between the strike frame and the mounting surface, blocking water ingress without restricting strike operation or requiring modifications to the strike assembly itself.
Compatibility
Direct fit for STI Stopper II and Weather Stopper series electric strikes operating at 9VDC. Install the gasket during initial strike mounting or retrofit to existing installations. The gasket accommodates the standard four-hole fixing pattern used across both product families, and works with surface-mounted or recessed strike configurations.
Installation Notes
Position the gasket over the device before securing the strike frame. Use a 7mm masonry drill bit to create the four mounting holes through the gasket and into the wall substrate. Secure the strike frame over the gasket with the provided fixing screws. For surface installations, use inserts to blank off any unused cable entry holes. Installation requires no electrical work — the gasket is purely mechanical and passive.
