STI STI-34098 Single Channel Slave Receiver
Overview
The STI STI-34098 is a single-channel slave receiver designed to extend wireless signal reach in STI Wireless Alert Series deployments. Operating at 12VDC, it receives and relays signals from compatible STI sensors and keyfobs across distributed access control installations. Use this when your primary receiver doesn't reach all zones or when you need multi-room coverage in a facility without rewiring sensor circuits. The receiver includes four zone indicators (solid red for triggered, flashing red for latched, amber for maintenance fault, green for ready) and selectable tone/voice acknowledgment—useful for staff who need immediate audio feedback without checking a display.
Compatibility
The STI-34098 pairs with STI Wireless Alert Series sensors and keyfobs. It receives signals from up to four distinct sensors or keyfobs per receiver unit. Compatible with access control installations that use STI wireless infrastructure. Requires external power supply jack input (STI-34105 power supply, sold separately) and supports programming of up to 63 preprogrammed messages and tones in English or Spanish. Does not allow programming into an occupied zone. All voice messages and tones are selectable during setup.
Installation Notes
Indoor use only—do not mount in outdoor enclosures or direct weather exposure. Power input: 12VDC, 500mA, via standard jack connector (STI-34105 switching/regulated supply required). Receiver range up to 1,000 feet line-of-sight with internal antenna; external antenna jack available for extended range in obstructed environments. Mounting is flexible—stand or wall-mount depending on facility layout and signal path requirements. DIP switches 3–8 in PROGRAM mode control access to 63 preprogrammed messages; system reset clears all programmed zones for reconfiguration.
