STI STI-7511F-OW Polycarbonate Enclosure with Strike Lock
Overview
The STI-7511F-OW is a lockable polycarbonate enclosure with integrated strike mechanism and enclosed white back box, designed to protect access control hardware—keypads, readers, control electronics, and similar devices—from vandalism, accidental damage, and environmental contamination. The polycarbonate construction (94V-2 flammability rated) handles temperature swings from −40°F to 250°F without embrittlement, making it suitable for indoor, semi-outdoor, and harsh-environment access control deployments. The thumb-lock design allows field technicians or security staff to access internal components without a key, streamlining maintenance and credential reader installation. Three-year manufacturer warranty covers polycarbonate breakage under normal use.
Compatibility
Compatible with STI-7510 and STI-7511 series enclosure families. The white back box mounts standard access control readers, keypads, and annunciator modules using provided hole locations. No reader type or communication protocol is locked into the enclosure itself—you mount your own reader hardware (card, keypad, biometric, or hybrid) to the back box surface. Works in single-door and multi-door access control systems where the enclosure protects mounted electronics and wiring from physical impact and moisture exposure.
Installation Notes
Mounting hardware and gaskets are included. Hole locations are provided on the white back box for reference during reader and strike installation. Integrated hinge and spacers are molded from the same polycarbonate as the cover, eliminating separate mechanical fasteners at the hinge. No special tools or torque specifications are documented in the evidence; follow standard panel-mounting practices for your reader and strike hardware. UL Recognized Component status means it meets industrial control panel construction standards (Type 3R rated for flat-surface mounting on industrial enclosures).
