Overview
The EP201608-T is an injection-molded polycarbonate enclosure rated for up to 7 controlled doors, designed to house reader modules, relay outputs, and network termination in distributed access control deployments. Finished in RAL 7035 (light gray) with a tinted polycarbonate construction, it provides impact resistance and component visibility while maintaining a professional appearance in both indoor and secure perimeter installations. Compatibility
The EP201608-T integrates with multi-door access control systems requiring centralized reader and credential processing. It accommodates standard electrical conduit connections for both metallic and non-metallic conduit (½" to 2" hub sizes with corresponding knockout holes). Installation Notes
Conduit installation requires cutting holes at desired locations using a Greenlee cutter or equivalent punch tool. Metallic conduit connectors must include grounding bushings secured with locknuts; non-metallic conduit does not require grounding bushings but must be aligned to prevent unnecessary stress on enclosure walls. Ground wiring must follow The Canadian Electrical Code bonding requirements between grounding bushings and the equipment grounding terminal. All conduit should be secured before or after connector installation to prevent enclosure damage.
