Installation Notes
The enclosure accommodates standard conduit entry through pre-drilled or custom holes sized for ½″ to 2″ conduit runs. When preparing holes, the installation guidance specifies a Greenlee-style punch approach, drilling from the inside face outward to prevent splintering of the polycarbonate shell. For metallic conduit, secure the hub connector first, then apply the locknut and grounding bushing per the Canadian Electrical Code requirements. Non-metallic conduit requires only the hub locknut — no grounding bushing needed, but ensure conduit alignment to avoid unnecessary stress on enclosure walls. Ground all metallic conduit and equipment per local electrical code. The polycarbonate material itself is non-conductive, so external bonding is mandatory for personnel safety in high-ground-fault environments.
