Compatibility

The BAT-T1-040 is the standard battery for the Janam XT40 series. It is backward compatible with the earlier XT30 series — same connector, same form factor, same installation procedure. This means a single spare-battery SKU covers both device generations in mixed fleets, simplifying logistics. Installation Notes

Battery installation requires no tools. Open the battery door on the back of the device, align the gold contact pins with the device connector, and slide the battery in until it clicks audibly. Do not force — a properly seated battery locks without pressure. For cycle longevity, avoid fully discharging before recharging. Store unused spare batteries in a cool, dry location (15–25°C / 59–77°F) at approximately 50% charge.
