Overview
The SPIPW15A is a 15W wall-mounted IP speaker built for exterior and interior networked audio in commercial facilities, campuses, and industrial sites. It delivers 101dB max SPL via SIP protocol integration — meaning it connects directly to VoIP systems, IP PBX platforms, and IP camera VMS systems without intermediate gateways. PoE (802.3af) powers the unit, eliminating dedicated 12V runs and reducing installation labor. IP55 rating (ABS enclosure) handles direct rain and dust exposure, so deployment on building exteriors is straightforward.
Compatibility
Pairs with any SIP-based VoIP system (standard IPPBX, IP phones) via dual SIP accounts and direct IP calling. Integrates with IP camera VMS platforms via ONVIF — fire an alarm trigger from your NVR and route audio to the SPIPW15A without custom middleware. Supports OPUS (48 kHz), MP3, G.722, PCMU, and PCMA codecs, so it works with legacy narrow-band VoIP infrastructure and modern wideband setups alike. HTTP API enables pre-recorded message triggering from third-party alarm systems and automation platforms (Speco Audio Manager included for management).

Dimensions are 11.7 × 7.7 × 6.2 inches; net weight 5.3 lbs — standard fasteners sufficient for most masonry or metal stud walls. 10/100 Base-TX RJ45 connection; use PoE injector or PoE-enabled switch with 802.3af budget headroom (15W draw). If existing PoE switch is at capacity, a small dedicated PoE injector (passive or active) avoids power conflicts. Frequency response spans 80 Hz–20 kHz with ±10 dB flatness in the 500–2 kHz speech band and ±20 dB from 400–12 kHz — adequate for zone announcements and alarm notifications, not high-fidelity music.
