Overview
The N32WNRN8TB is a 32-channel 4K network video recorder purpose-built for wall-mount installation in commercial facilities where rack space is unavailable or aesthetics matter. It records all 32 channels at 4K (3840×2160) resolution and 30 fps per channel using H.265 compression—cutting storage overhead roughly in half compared to H.264, a critical advantage when operating 24/7 across a full channel load. The unit ships with 8TB of internal storage (expandable via optional higher-capacity drives up to 30TB) and integrates directly with Speco IP cameras via plug-and-play discovery, plus any ONVIF-compliant third-party camera.
Compatibility
The N32WNRN8TB works with all Speco IP cameras and any ONVIF Profile S-compliant IP camera (axis, hikvision, dahua, uniview, etc.). It supports H.265 and H.264 codec profiles automatically, so mixed-codec deployments require no manual intervention. Two-way audio is built in—16 local audio inputs plus 32 IP audio inputs for intercom or event alerting. Remote access works via SecureGuard VMS and SecureGuard Mobile (iOS/Android), plus PC and Mac remote viewing clients. The unit includes free U.S.-based DDNS and integrates with ONVIF PTZ control.
Installation Notes
The recorder mounts on any wall via included rack ears. Dimensions are 15″ W × 2.83″ H × 13.4″ D, and it weighs 12 lbs gross—verify wall stud location and anchor strength for permanent installation. Power requirement is 12VDC at 5A via supplied power supply. Network connectivity uses dual Gigabit ports for isolating camera traffic from remote access traffic, reducing latency and improving security posture. Firmware upgrades are available via USB or network; no downtime interruption required.
