Overview
The Speco N32WNRN64TB is a 32-channel wall-mount network video recorder engineered for mid-to-large security deployments where you need dense recording across multiple sites without consuming a full rack footprint. It records all 32 channels at 4K (3840×2160) resolution at 30 fps per channel, using H.265 compression to cut storage footprint roughly in half compared to H.264 — a practical advantage when running continuous recording across dozens of simultaneous streams. The unit supports storage configurations from 2TB to 30TB, with the 64TB variant providing extended retention for forensic playback and compliance workflows. Wall-mount deployment keeps it visible in control rooms or accessible in smaller server closets while maintaining thermal and power management in standard facility environments.
Compatibility
The N32WNRN64TB integrates with all Speco IP cameras and any third-party camera meeting ONVIF Profile S compliance — a standard supported by virtually all enterprise and mid-market IP camera lines (Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha, Uniview, etc.). The unit discovers and auto-configures Speco cameras via EZ Wizards, eliminating manual IP assignment for plug-and-play deployment. Remote access operates through SecureGuard VMS and SecureGuard Mobile (iOS, Android), plus any ONVIF-compatible third-party VMS such as Milestone, Genetec, or on-premises systems. Dual gigabit network ports allow network segmentation — one port for camera traffic, one for remote monitoring and metadata. PC and Mac-native client software is included; no license seats required.
Installation Notes
The unit is supplied with rack ears for 19-inch rack mounting but is rated for wall installation in control rooms or server closets. Power input is 12VDC, 5A via included power supply — verify circuit capacity before installation. The chassis measures 15″W × 2.83″H × 13.4″D and weighs 12 lbs gross, making it suitable for most wall-mount brackets rated for 15+ lbs. Ensure 4–6 inches of clearance on rear and sides for thermal exhaust and cable management. SATA hard drives are field-replaceable; the unit supports hot-swap operation.
