Overview
The N16WNRM32TB is a 16-channel wall-mount network recording manager designed for integrators deploying mid-scale surveillance in control rooms, secure facilities, or network closets where compliance and compact footprint matter. The unit records up to 4K (8MP) resolution across all 16 channels simultaneously at 30fps each, with 32TB of integrated storage built in — no external NAS required. ONVIF compliance ensures compatibility with standard IP camera ecosystems; NDAA certification covers federal procurement requirements for sensitive infrastructure.
Compatibility
The N16WNRM32TB integrates with any ONVIF-compatible IP camera — no vendor lock-in. Supports Speco's own IP camera line for automated discovery and provisioning via EZ Wizards, but works equally with third-party ONVIF Profile S and PTZ cameras. Network setup handles dual Ethernet ports for isolating camera traffic from remote monitoring traffic, reducing bandwidth congestion on the local network. Compatible with SecureGuard® VMS and SecureGuard® Mobile for centralized remote viewing and configuration; also supports PC and macOS client software. Two-way audio communication works with 16 local audio inputs plus 32 IP-sourced audio inputs (G.711 codec), enabling voice intercom across distributed camera sites.
Installation Notes
Wall-mount installation uses supplied rack ears — the unit measures 15" wide × 2.83" high × 13.4" deep and weighs 12 lbs, fitting standard 19-inch rack verticals or direct wall studs. Power supply delivers 12VDC at 5A via internal supply; provide clean AC power with adequate circuit protection. No PoE power sourcing — this is a recorder, not a switch. SATA hard drives are field-replaceable; all channels support H.265 and H.264 encoding with automatic codec negotiation. Firmware upgrades load via USB port or network without service interruption.
