Overview
The H12WHRN6TB is a wall-mounted hybrid digital video recorder designed for mixed analog and IP camera deployments. It accommodates 8 hybrid channels (TVI or IP switchable) plus 4 dedicated IP channels, totaling 12 recording streams on a single compact unit. The 6TB internal storage supports extended retention across all channels, eliminating the need for separate analog and IP recorders at the same site. The wall-mount form factor solves space constraints in control rooms, utility closets, and retrofit installations where rack depth is limited. NDAA-compliant design meets federal procurement requirements.
Compatibility
Hybrid channels accept Speco TVI (analog high-definition) cameras or IP cameras via configuration switch—no hardware changes required. The 4 dedicated IP channels operate independently and support ONVIF-compliant IP cameras from standard manufacturers. This architecture enables staged system upgrades: start with analog TVI infrastructure and migrate to IP without replacing the recorder. Compatible with standard PoE switches delivering 802.3at power; verify switch capacity for total connected camera load.
Installation Notes
Wall mounting uses a standard VESA-compatible bracket (included). Verify wall stud or backing material supports the unit's weight before installation.
