Overview
The CVC607CMT2.5 is a fixed 2MP HD-TVI corner mount camera built for indoor security in high-traffic or vandal-prone areas. The 90° corner mount form factor installs flush into building corners, entryways, and facility intersections—a discrete solution where you need coverage without a protruding camera body. Resolution is 1920 × 1080 @ 30 fps delivered over standard coaxial TVI cable, eliminating the need for network infrastructure at the camera. Vandal-resistant housing withstands direct impact: the 16-gauge steel construction is rated to survive blows from a 10 lb. sledgehammer without optical or sensor damage. Power draw is minimal—200 mA @ 12 VDC—so you can run extended cable runs on lighter supplies.
Compatibility
The CVC607CMT2.5 integrates with any HD-TVI DVR or hybrid recorder that accepts analog TVI video input. Common compatible platforms include Speco TVI recorders, Honeywell hybrid systems, and third-party HD-TVI DVRs supporting 1080p over coax. The camera outputs 1.0 Vp-p / 75 ohms standard TVI signal. An optional 12VDC IP encoder (referenced in the datasheet as PSW5 O5E1) can convert the analog output to IP for integration with network-based VMS systems if coax-to-network bridging is required. The fixed 2.5 mm lens (1920 × 1080 effective pixels: 1984 H × 1105 V) delivers wide horizontal field of view—appropriate for corner coverage of hallways, loading docks, and entrance vestibules where you need to capture approaching subjects without pan/tilt. An optional 2.2 mm lens variant is available if you need even wider coverage.
Installation Notes
Operating temperature range is 14°F to 122°F, limiting outdoor use in extreme cold climates. The camera requires dedicated 12VDC power supply (not included)—verify your supply can source 200 mA continuously and locate it within practical wiring distance. Corner mount installation assumes clean corner geometry—confirm that your mounting surface is square and free of protrusions. The 5.1" (W) × 3.3" (H) footprint fits standard corner junctions but measure your space before ordering.
