Overview
The CSTTBAR is a ceiling-mounted bracket designed to integrate security cameras directly into standard T-bar suspended ceiling systems. This mount solves the installation problem in retail floors, offices, schools, and institutional buildings where drop-ceiling infrastructure is already in place—you avoid drilling structural members and get a low-profile installation that blends into the existing grid. The CSTTBAR secures cameras to T-bar suspension without additional mounting brackets or adapters, saving installation time and keeping cable runs clean within the ceiling cavity.
Compatibility
The mount is compatible with Speco IP camera models including the O4VLB5, O4VLD5, O4B6M, O4D6M, O4DT5, O4DT6M, O4MD3, O4T8, O8B6M, O8D6M, and other cameras within standard Speco dome and compact form factors. Verify mounting footprint and weight with your specific camera model before installation. T-bar grid compatibility covers standard 15mm and 24mm suspension systems commonly found in drop-ceiling applications across North America.
Installation Notes
Install in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not block camera ventilation openings during or after installation. Ensure the T-bar structure can support the combined weight of the mount and camera—typically under 5 pounds for standard dome cameras. Ground the camera's grounding holes to further enhance reliability. Avoid exposing the installation to heavy vibration or mechanical stress. Use only certified power supplies rated for your camera; if deploying PoE (802.3af), verify your switch has sufficient budget and that no two power sources are connected to the device simultaneously.
