Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric AP4430A is a 1U rackmount Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) designed to provide dual-circuit power redundancy for critical IT equipment. It accepts input power from two separate power sources and automatically switches to the secondary source if the primary fails, ensuring continuous operation for connected servers, network devices, and other rack-mounted gear. This unit is ideal for small to medium-sized server rooms or network closets where uptime is paramount and a single power feed presents a single point of failure. The AP4430A model supports 200-208V input and output at 20A, with a standard L6-20P input plug and a configuration of eight C13 outlets and one C19 outlet.

Environmental operating conditions range from -5°C to 45°C (23°F to 113°F) with 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity. The 1U form factor requires standard 19-inch rack mounting, secured using provided hardware. LED indicators provide status for input power, output load, and switch position.
