Overview
The ACTi PMAX-0312 is a wall-mounted bracket engineered to secure PTZ cameras from the I93–I96 series. This mount anchors the full pan-tilt-zoom mechanism directly to vertical surfaces (interior walls, exterior building faces, utility poles with backing plates), preserving unrestricted pan, tilt, and optical zoom functionality. Use this when you need stable PTZ positioning without ceiling or pendant infrastructure—common in retail corridors, loading dock monitoring, and perimeter fence lines where a wall-mounted camera offers the best sight line and weathering exposure.
Compatibility
The PMAX-0312 is designed exclusively for ACTi I93, I94, I95, and I96 PTZ camera models. Mount directly to the camera's bottom or side faceplate—no adapters required. Do not attempt to force it onto other PTZ families (e.g., Axis, Hikvision, Uniview); mechanical fitment will fail. If you are standardizing on a different PTZ camera brand, confirm the mount model with that manufacturer's accessory selector.
Installation Notes
Wall mounting requires solid backing: concrete, brick, steel channel, or structural wood studs rated for sustained load. The PMAX-0312 weighs 2.55 lb; assume the camera weight (typically 1.5–3 lb for I-series PTZ) will add another 2–4 lb. Use anchors appropriate to your substrate—lag bolts (wood), concrete anchors (masonry), or through-bolts (steel). Do not mount to drywall alone or to corroded exterior surfaces without corrosion-resistant fasteners (stainless steel hardware recommended for wet environments). Ensure the camera pan motor has at least 12 inches of clearance on both sides to avoid mechanical binding during full 360° rotation. Wire the camera's power and network cables behind or alongside the mount bracket to prevent stress on the connector ports during tilt motion.
