Overview
The PMAX-0324 is a wall-mounted bracket engineered for the ACTi A950 camera. It delivers fixed positioning for indoor surveillance deployments where wall installation is preferred to ceiling mounting — typical in retail corridors, office hallways, and entry vestibules where camera sightlines need to be set once and left stable. The mount supports PoE power pass-through, meaning you run a single network cable from your PoE switch to the camera; no separate power supply or conduit required.
Compatibility
The PMAX-0324 is engineered exclusively for the ACTi A950 camera platform. It integrates into ONVIF-compatible video management systems and network-based surveillance infrastructure, making it suitable for integrators deploying distributed ACTi camera networks. Verify mounting compatibility with your A950 unit before procurement — this bracket is not backward- or forward-compatible with other ACTi camera models.
Installation Notes
Wall mounting requires standard drywall anchors or masonry fasteners (not supplied) appropriate to your wall substrate. Position the bracket to avoid direct sunlight into the A950 lens during critical recording hours, and maintain at least 12 inches of clearance above and to the sides for cable management and future maintenance access. PoE power delivery via the network cable eliminates the need for a separate power run, but confirm your PoE switch has sufficient available power budget before installation (the A950 draws power per its own specifications).
