Overview

The CyberPower PDU44006 is a 1U rackmount Switched Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) PDU designed to provide power redundancy for single-corded equipment. By connecting its dual input cords to separate power sources, it ensures continuous operation for critical IT infrastructure, preventing downtime from a single power feed failure. This unit is ideal for server racks in data centers, network closets, or any environment where uninterrupted power is essential. The PDU44006 features switchable outlets for remote power control, an LCD display for local status monitoring, and network connectivity for remote management.

Compatibility

This PDU is compatible with any standard 19-inch rack system. It supports single-phase input voltage from 200-240V AC, making it suitable for enterprise environments with appropriate power distribution. The unit provides 8 x IEC-320 C13 outlets and 2 x IEC-320 C19 outlets, accommodating a wide range of server, network, and storage devices. Its dual NEMA L6-20P input plugs require two separate 20A circuits from your power sources.

Installation Notes

The PDU44006 operates within a temperature range of 32-113°F (0-45°C). It requires two separate 200-240V AC power sources, each capable of supplying at least 16A (the derated input current). The unit supports SNMP/HTTP remote monitoring and email/SMS notifications, requiring an Ethernet connection via the RJ45 port. Environmental sensor support is also available for integrated monitoring solutions. The transfer time between power sources is less than 10ms, ensuring minimal disruption to connected equipment.
