Installation Notes
Power down the Jiva 8000 completely and disconnect all peripherals before opening the terminal. Locate the DIMM slot (consult your system documentation for slot location). Insert the module at a 45-degree angle, then press firmly until the retention clips at both ends snap into place — the module will sit flat and flush when fully seated. Do not force insertion; proper seating should require steady, even pressure only. Reseat any cables disturbed during access, close the terminal enclosure, and power on to verify recognition in system BIOS or firmware.
