Overview
The Panduit POEXRX1 is a single-port PoE extender receiver designed to push 802.3af-powered devices beyond the 100-meter copper cable distance limit that stops most standard IP deployments in their tracks. If you're running a PoE switch to a camera, access reader, or VoIP phone at the end of a long run, this receiver box is the terminating half of the Panduit PoE extension system — it accepts the extended PoE signal from the paired transmitter and delivers standard 802.3af power plus data to the connected device.
Compact in form at 3.51 inches wide and 1.98 inches tall, the POEXRX1 fits in ceiling voids, junction boxes, and equipment closets without demanding dedicated rack space. The black enclosure (1.01 inches deep) keeps the footprint minimal at the device end of the run.
