Overview
The Panduit POEXKIT1 is a PoE Extender Kit designed to extend Power over Ethernet capabilities beyond standard cable length limitations. This kit includes a transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) box, enabling you to deploy PoE-powered devices like IP cameras or wireless access points further from the network switch. It's particularly useful in large facilities or complex building layouts where running new Ethernet infrastructure is impractical. The kit supports up to 60W of PoE power, ensuring sufficient power delivery for demanding devices. The POEXKIT1 is finished in black for discreet integration.
Compatibility
This PoE Extender Kit is designed to work with standard PoE (802.3af) sources. It extends the reach of any IEEE 802.3af compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) or Power Device (PD) over copper systems. It is suitable for use with a wide range of IP surveillance cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE-enabled devices that require power delivery beyond the typical 100-meter Ethernet limit.
Installation Notes
The POEXKIT1 utilizes standard copper cabling. Ensure that the total cable length between the PSE and the Rx box, plus the cable length between the Rx box and the powered device, does not exceed the specified limits for the PoE standard being used. The kit is designed for straightforward plug-and-play installation, requiring no complex configuration. It meets UL 60950-1 and RoHS compliance standards.
