Overview

The Vertiv I10129L is a 72-inch vertical rack PDU designed for reliable power distribution to critical IT equipment. Its 'Basic Upgradeable' designation means it provides essential power delivery out-of-the-box, with the future capability to transform into a metered or monitored unit by adding an Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD). This unit is factory-tested for reliability and suitable for standard data center racks and cabinets where straightforward, high-capacity power is required. The I10129L model specifically offers 24 locking IEC C13 outlets and 6 locking IEC C19 outlets, fed from a single 30A, 120/208V WYE input with a NEMA L21-30P twistlock plug.

Compatibility

This PDU is designed for integration into standard 19-inch server racks and cabinets. It is compatible with IT equipment requiring C13 or C19 power connections. The 'Upgradeable' feature allows for future compatibility with Geist Upgradeable hot-swap technology via an IMD module, enabling enhanced power monitoring capabilities without replacing the entire PDU. It supports 50/60Hz input frequencies and is UL & c-UL Listed 62368-1 compliant.

Installation Notes

The PDU features a vertical, 0U form factor for efficient rack space utilization. It requires a 30A, 3-phase WYE power source at 120/208V. The power cable is 10 feet long, terminating in a NEMA L21-30P twistlock plug. Overcurrent protection is provided by three 20A double-pole magnetic breakers, each protecting a set of 8 C13 outlets and 2 C19 outlets, facilitating circuit isolation.
