The Panduit SE200PS-LR0 Pan-Wrap™ split braided sleeving solves a common field problem: protecting cable runs that are already terminated and routed. This 2-inch nominal diameter sleeve installs without disconnecting terminations, saving hours of labor on retrofit jobs, adds to existing systems, or any application where you need continuous abrasion resistance but can't pull cable through traditional closed sleeving. The split-weave PET construction flexes open for installation, then closes around the bundle to provide lightweight, durable protection across a -94°F to 257°F operating range.
The split-weave design is the defining advantage of the SE200PS-LR0. Traditional closed braided sleeving requires feeding every connector through the sleeve before termination—a non-starter when you're adding a camera to an existing 12-run bundle or protecting a trunk line that's already landed in patch panels at both ends. This sleeve loads laterally: separate the weave, lay the cable bundle into the channel, and release. The PET fibers overlap to restore continuous coverage while remaining flexible enough to route around corners and through cable trays. The material resists abrasion from sharp enclosure edges, vibration against strut, and repeated flexing in articulating arms or vehicle applications. At 2 inches nominal diameter, it handles bundles ranging from a single thick trunk cable to a dozen Cat6 runs, and the 50-foot length minimizes the number of segments you need to manage on long pulls—fewer cut points means fewer potential snag edges and faster installation.
Open-weave construction makes this sleeving suitable for harsh environments where solid jacketing would trap moisture or heat. Outdoor security camera runs in humid climates need airflow to prevent condensation inside the sleeve; marine installations near salt spray need drainage to avoid galvanic corrosion on shielding; and enclosed conduit runs in hot attics need convective cooling. The PET braid provides continuous mechanical protection without creating a vapor barrier. The halogen-free formulation is required in transportation and marine applications—if the sleeving burns, it won't release hydrochloric acid or other corrosive gases that damage electronics or threaten personnel in confined spaces. UL 94 V-0 flammability rating means the material self-extinguishes when the ignition source is removed, a critical property for cable runs in return-air plenums or near high-temperature equipment. The -94°F to 257°F range covers freezer facilities, engine rooms, and desert rooftop camera runs where summer ambient temperatures push cable surface temps well above 150°F.
CSA certification, UL recognition (E116868), RoHS compliance, and the halogen-free designation make the SE200PS-LR0 suitable for installations governed by NEC, NFPA, marine USCG standards, and international transportation regulations. For security integrators running cable through existing industrial facilities, adding camera drops to active server rooms, or protecting AV trunk lines in education and transportation projects, this split sleeving provides verifiable mechanical and flammability protection without the disassembly and downtime that closed sleeving would require.
