Description

Vertiv GL-RMUTA RMU Ascending Label Pack

Overview

The GL-RMUTA is a four-label pack of ascending rack unit (RMU) identification labels from Vertiv, designed for data center and server room racks where clear, consistent unit numbering keeps installation accurate and troubleshooting fast. In dense rack environments — co-location rows, network closets, or Vertiv rack systems — unlabeled or mislabeled RMU positions slow down technicians and introduce cabling errors. The GL-RMUTA eliminates that by providing pre-printed, ascending-sequence labels that adhere directly to the rack rail or chassis faceplate, giving every U position a visible, permanent reference. If you need descending-sequence labeling instead, confirm your rack's numbering convention before ordering — ascending labels run bottom-to-top, which matches the most common data center standard but not all facilities.

Compatibility

The GL-RMUTA is designed for use with standard EIA 19-inch racks and enclosures. It is sourced directly from Vertiv for use within the Vertiv rack and enclosure product family. Confirm your specific rack model's label channel width and RMU numbering direction before purchasing — not all Vertiv enclosures use the same label format, and mixing ascending and descending sets across adjacent racks creates numbering conflicts that affect asset management and cable management documentation accuracy.
