Description

Panduit F92RPU1U1ONM010 OS2 2F 2MM PC Ofnp LC Uniboot /lc Uniea

Overview

The Panduit F92RPU1U1ONM010 is a 10-meter (32.81 ft) OS2 single-mode, duplex fiber optic patch cord. It features Opti-Core® technology with uniboot pull-boot connectors on both ends, terminating in LC Duplex configurations. This cord is designed for plenum-rated (OFNP) installations within data centers, telecommunications rooms, and network applications requiring clean interconnects between pre-terminated cassettes. The yellow cable color aids in identification.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered for use in standard fiber optic network infrastructure. It is compatible with any LC Duplex connectorized equipment, including network switches, transceivers, and patch panels that accept OS2 single-mode fiber. The uniboot design simplifies cable management by consolidating two fibers into a single jacket with a reversible pull-boot mechanism for polarity switching.

Installation Notes

The uniboot connector design allows for easy polarity reversal without requiring re-termination. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to maintain optimal signal integrity. The plenum (OFNP) rating is critical for installations within air-handling spaces, meeting stringent fire safety codes. The 9-micron fiber core is optimized for single-mode transmission, providing low insertion loss suitable for high-bandwidth, long-distance applications.
