Description

Panduit F91ER1NB1SNM030 OS2 1-Fiber Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit F91ER1NB1SNM030 is a 30-meter OS2 single-mode, simplex fiber optic patch cord. It features a 1.6mm riser-rated (OFNR) yellow jacket and terminates in LC Simplex on one end and LC/APC (Angled Physical Contact) on the other. This cord is designed for standard insertion loss applications, ensuring reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems where clean signal integrity is paramount. Its specific connector types and fiber grade make it suitable for connecting network equipment, transceivers, and patch panels in data centers and enterprise environments.

Compatibility

This patch cord is compatible with any equipment or infrastructure utilizing LC Simplex and LC/APC (angled polish) connectors for OS2 single-mode fiber. It is suitable for use with standard fiber optic transceivers (e.g., SFP, SFP+, QSFP) and network interface cards that accept these connector types. Use in conjunction with Panduit Opti-Core® fiber optic systems and compatible network hardware is recommended for optimal performance. Ensure your network devices have matching LC Simplex and LC/APC ports.

Installation Notes

The 1.6mm diameter cable jacket is OFNR (Riser) rated, suitable for vertical runs within a building but not for use in plenums or air-handling spaces. The LC/APC connector features an angled polish to minimize back reflection, crucial for high-speed data transmission; ensure proper cleaning and handling to maintain signal quality. Standard polarity means transmit on one end corresponds to transmit on the other. The cable is designed for standard insertion loss values, typically below 0.3 dB for the connectors.
