Description

Panduit FWUYL7575LNM020 OM5 Trunk Cable Assembly

Overview

The Panduit FWUYL7575LNM020 is a 24-fiber OM5 trunk cable assembly, 20 meters in length, designed for high-density data center applications. Its Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) rating enhances safety in enclosed spaces, and the small diameter (50-micron fiber) uses 30-40% less space than traditional cables, optimizing rack density and airflow. This assembly is ideal for quick infrastructure deployment requiring extended reach and high bandwidth.

Compatibility

This Panduit QuickNet™ trunk cable assembly is designed for use within Panduit's fiber optic system infrastructure. It terminates with PanMPO Female connectors on both ends, suitable for transitioning to HD Flex fiber optic systems. Its OM5 fiber type is backward compatible with OM3 and OM4 but offers enhanced performance for WDM applications, making it compatible with a wide range of modern data center networking equipment that supports MPO/MTP connectivity.

Installation Notes

The cable features a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket for safety compliance in sensitive environments. The 20-meter (65.62 ft) length provides flexibility for routing within racks and data center aisles. The assembly uses Method B polarity, which is critical for ensuring proper signal transmission in duplex applications. Ensure connectors are kept clean and protected when not in use to maintain optimal insertion loss performance.
