Description

Panduit FWUYL7575KAM082 OM5 Trunk Cable

Overview

The Panduit FWUYL7575KAM082 is an 82-meter OM5 LSZH trunk cable assembly designed for high-density data center deployments. Its small diameter construction, utilizing 24 fibers, offers 30-40% space savings compared to standard cables, crucial for maximizing rack density and supporting extended reach applications. This assembly terminates in PanMPO Female connectors on both ends, featuring HD Flex transition and Method A wiring for ultra-low insertion loss.

Compatibility

This trunk cable assembly is designed for use within Panduit's QuickNet™ fiber optic systems and is compatible with infrastructure requiring OM5 fiber specifications. It supports TIA/EIA-568-C.3 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, making it suitable for integration into existing or new data center network backbones. The PanMPO connectors are intended for use with compatible PanMPO-based patch panels and equipment interfaces.

Installation Notes

The cable features a pulling eye on one end to aid in installation through conduits and trays. Its LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) rating is critical for installations requiring compliance with stringent fire safety regulations, minimizing toxic smoke and corrosive byproducts in case of fire. The OM5 fiber type supports a wider range of wavelengths, enabling higher bandwidth applications and future-proofing network infrastructure.
