Description

Panduit FWTYL7575LAM073 OM5 Trunk Cable

Overview

The Panduit FWTYL7575LAM073 is a QuickNet™ OM5 fiber optic trunk cable assembly designed for high-density data center applications. Its small diameter construction, utilizing 12 fibers, saves 30-40% of space compared to conventional cables, facilitating quicker infrastructure deployment and extended reach within the data center environment. This cable is engineered to meet stringent data center requirements for performance and density.

Compatibility

This trunk cable assembly is designed for use within Panduit's QuickNet™ fiber optic system infrastructure. It supports OM5 fiber type, which is backward compatible with OM3 and OM4 but offers enhanced performance for short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) applications, enabling higher bandwidth and support for emerging technologies. It meets or exceeds ISO/IEC 11801, TIA/EIA-568-C.3, and TIA-604-5 (FOCIS-5) standards.

Installation Notes

The cable features an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flammability rating, suitable for environments where fire safety regulations mandate reduced smoke and halogen emissions. The 73-meter (239.5 ft) length provides significant reach for complex data center layouts. It is designed for integration into high-density patching systems requiring efficient cable management.
