Description

Panduit FW2RLU1U1NNM009 Cordon de raccordement en fibre optique

Overview

The Panduit FW2RLU1U1NNM009 is a 9-meter (29.52 ft) duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density network environments. It features OM5 multimode fiber with a 2mm diameter cable jacket rated LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), making it suitable for installations where fire safety is a concern. The Uniboot connector design allows for a single cable to carry both transmit and receive signals, simplifying cable management and reducing bundle size. This cord is ideal for connecting network switches, servers, and other active equipment in data centers or enterprise networks requiring high-bandwidth optical links.

Compatibility

This Panduit Opti-Core™ patch cord utilizes LC Duplex Uniboot connectors on both ends, terminating with UPC polish. It is designed to connect to any equipment featuring compatible LC Duplex ports. The OM5 fiber type supports short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) for high-speed applications up to 400Gbps over short distances, commonly found in modern data center switch-to-switch or switch-to-server connections. It is backward compatible with OM3 and OM4 infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The Uniboot connector design simplifies installation by allowing for easy polarity reversal without needing to re-terminate the connector. Simply slide the outer boot to switch between standard (A-to-B) and reversed (A-to-A) polarity. The 2mm cable diameter and LSZH jacket meet IEC 60332-1-2 flammability standards, ensuring compliance in plenum spaces or areas with strict fire codes. The standard insertion loss rating ensures signal integrity for critical optical links.
