Overview

The FW2ERLNSNSNM046 is a Panduit QuickNet™ pre-terminated fiber assembly built for structured cabling runs inside data centers, telecom rooms, entrance facilities, and equipment distribution areas. It delivers a 46-meter (150.9 ft) OM5 wideband multimode connection with LC Duplex connectors on one end and SC Duplex on the other — factory-terminated and individually tested, so there's no on-site polishing or field termination required. That matters on large-scale deployments where splice loss variability or installer error can cost you diagnostic hours. OM5 50/125µm wideband multimode fiber supports short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) at wavelengths across 850–953nm, which is the bandwidth ceiling that OM4 can't address — if your roadmap includes 40G/100G SWDM4 links, this cable family is the correct infrastructure investment rather than OM4.

Compatibility

This cable is engineered for environments built to Panduit QuickNet™ modular infrastructure, but the LC Duplex / SC Duplex connector profile is industry-standard. Compatible connection points include: Panduit QuickNet fiber cassettes and modules with SC Duplex ports; LC-port transceivers in switches and routers (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, HPE) pairing to SC-port patch panels or active equipment; and optical distribution frames following TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, or ANSI/TIA-942-B data center cabling standards. The 2-fiber configuration supports standard duplex transceiver ports (one TX, one RX strand). It is not suitable for parallel-optic (MPO/MTP) ports or simplex applications without an adapter.

Installation Notes

The OFNR riser flammability rating qualifies this cable for vertical runs between floors in non-plenum shafts — it is not plenum-rated (OFNP), so do not route it through air-handling spaces without a conduit or plenum-rated alternative. At 46m, this is a longer pre-terminated run; confirm your pathway is clear and bend radius is maintained (minimum 10x cable diameter) before pulling, as factory connectors cannot be re-terminated in the field. The 1.6mm diameter jacket is slim enough for high-density tray fill but verify your fiber management system supports the LC and SC boot profile on each end.
