Description

Panduit FZ2RLU1U1ONM003 OM4 Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RLU1U1ONM003 is a 3-meter (9.84 ft) OM4 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density data center and telecommunications room interconnections. Its Uniboot design with pull-boot LC connectors simplifies deployment by reducing cable bulk and management effort, while the LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) Aqua jacket ensures compliance with stringent environmental and safety regulations. This cable offers optimized insertion loss, critical for maintaining signal integrity in high-speed network environments.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered for use within fiber optic distribution systems, including the interconnection of pre-terminated cassettes in main, horizontal, and equipment distribution areas. It is suitable for applications requiring LC Duplex to LC Duplex connectivity, commonly found in enterprise networks, data centers, and telecom facilities. The OM4 fiber type supports 10/40/100 Gbps Ethernet applications over its specified distance.

Installation Notes

The Uniboot design facilitates easier cable management and strain relief due to its integrated pull-boot connectors. The 2.0mm cable diameter is suitable for standard patch panel cutouts and cable management accessories. The LSZH jacket requires proper ventilation in enclosed spaces, as it produces less smoke and toxic gases during a fire compared to PVC jackets, but still necessitates airflow for heat dissipation.
