Description

Panduit FZUYPXRNNNNF050 OM4 Fiber Cassette

Overview

The Panduit FZUYPXRNNNNF050 is a FlexCore™ front-access fiber optic ODF tethered cassette assembly designed for high-density data center and enterprise network backbone deployments. It provides a managed interface for up to 24 OM4 fibers, terminating in LC Duplex connectors on one side and leaving the other unterminated for field termination or integration into larger Panduit fiber management systems. Its polycarbonate construction and Plenum (OFNP) flammability rating ensure compliance with stringent building codes for in-ceiling or in-wall installations.

Compatibility

This cassette is engineered for use within Panduit's fiber optic system enclosures and patch panels. It supports standard LC Duplex connectors, making it compatible with a wide range of active network equipment and fiber optic transceivers that utilize this common interface. The 24-fiber count is suitable for high-speed network links such as 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel applications.

Installation Notes

The cassette measures 11.53 inches wide and 0.46 inches high, designed to fit standard fiber optic distribution frames. The OFNP rating means it must be installed in applications requiring compliance with plenum cable standards. The tethered design simplifies management and prevents accidental disconnection during maintenance or moves, adds, and changes (MACs).
