Overview
The Panduit FC2XO-24-10U is an Opticom™ OM3 fiber cassette designed for high-density fiber management. It consolidates 24 fibers into a compact, rack-mountable unit, simplifying cable runs and improving organization within fiber optic panels. This cassette is ideal for data center backbone and structured cabling deployments where space and performance are critical. It utilizes universal polarity, supporting TIA standards for flexible integration.
Compatibility
This cassette is designed to integrate with Panduit fiber optic enclosures and panels that support MPO/LC cassette modules. It is compatible with OM3 fiber infrastructure, suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications up to 300 meters. The MPO-12 Male connector mates with standard MPO trunk cables, while the 12 duplex LC Aqua adapters connect to patch cords or equipment ports. It is engineered for use within the Panduit Opticom™ fiber optic systems.
Installation Notes
The cassette features a durable polycarbonate housing and utilizes a universal polarity method, ensuring correct signal transmission when paired with compatible trunk cables and patch cords. The aqua-colored LC adapters clearly identify the OM3 fiber type. Ensure proper mating of the MPO connector to avoid damage and maintain signal integrity. The compact form factor allows for easy slide-in installation into compatible Panduit fiber chassis.
