Overview
The Panduit FXTYL5EL2SAM065 is a 12-fiber, OM3 laser-optimized multimode fiber optic trunk cable assembly. It features MPO connectors on one end and LC duplex connectors on the other, designed for high-density interconnects in enterprise and data center environments. The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket provides enhanced safety in plenum spaces or areas with strict fire-resistance codes, reducing toxic smoke and flame spread. This cable is critical for building out structured cabling backbones that support high-speed network equipment.
Compatibility
This trunk cable is designed to interconnect MPO-based network equipment (e.g., switches, transceivers) with LC-based patch panels or active equipment. It is compatible with standard MPO/MTP adapter plates and LC duplex adapters.
