Overview
The CyberPower OL1K5RM is a 1.5 kVA / 1200 W online double-conversion UPS designed for rack-mount deployments. This unit provides a stable, conditioned power source by converting incoming AC power to DC and then back to AC, ensuring sensitive electronics like network switches, servers, and surveillance NVRs receive a pure sine wave output free from fluctuations. It's ideal for environments where consistent, high-quality power is critical for uninterrupted operation and data integrity, especially in facilities with unstable grid power or sensitive AV/IT infrastructure. The OL1K5RM model specifically fits into a 2U rack space.
Compatibility
This UPS is designed to protect a wide range of connected devices. It is suitable for use with 100-125V input voltage systems and operates within a 40-70 Hz input frequency range, automatically adjusting to 50/60 Hz output. It is compatible with IT equipment, network infrastructure, and surveillance recording systems that require clean power, such as 12-bay NVRs, high-performance switches, and critical server components. Its 0.8 output power factor rating is suitable for a variety of loads.

The unit operates efficiently in ECO mode, with a heat dissipation of 328 BTU/h, making it suitable for standard server rack environments where thermal management is a concern. It accepts a single input phase and features an Emergency Power Off (EPO) port for immediate shutdown in critical situations. The 710 Joule surge energy rating provides protection against voltage spikes. Input operation voltage ranges from 100V to 125V, accommodating standard US power grids.
