Description

Viking Electronics E-60-BN-EWP Oil Rubbed Bronze Entry Phone with EWP

Overview

The Viking Electronics E-60-BN-EWP is a telephone-line-powered, vandal-resistant entry phone finished in oil rubbed bronze — a satin dark brown powder paint that integrates cleanly into commercial entryways, multi-tenant lobbies, and gated access points where aesthetics matter as much as durability. The E-60-BN-EWP (often searched as E 60 BN EWP) draws power directly from the telephone line, eliminating a separate power supply and simplifying rough-in on any standard POTS or analog CO line. The Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) configuration adds foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections, and gel-filled butt connectors, pushing the unit to an IP66 ingress protection rating and 100% humidity tolerance — suitable for installations exposed to driving rain, coastal condensation, or extreme temperature swings from -30°F to 150°F.

This is a flush-mount device designed for a standard double gang electrical box, keeping the wall profile low and the install clean. For surface applications or added weather protection, the optional VE-5x5 surface mount enclosure pairs directly with the E-60-BN-EWP and provides additional environmental shielding.
