Middle Atlantic GR1200-50 Pancake Raceway
Overview
The Middle Atlantic GR1200-50 is a 50-foot length of nonmetallic overfloor raceway designed to conceal and protect low-voltage cables, such as those used for security cameras or network devices, in open-plan areas. Its low-profile, pancake design minimizes trip hazards while providing a clean conduit for cable runs across floors. This 2.5-inch wide, gray raceway is suitable for environments where drilling into walls or ceilings is not feasible or desired.
Compatibility
This raceway is designed for general-purpose cable management and is compatible with a wide range of low-voltage cabling, including but not limited to: Ethernet (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a), coaxial (RG59, RG6), alarm wiring, and basic power cords for low-power devices where permitted by code. It is not intended for use with high-voltage AC power distribution or as a substitute for conduit required by electrical codes.
Installation Notes
The GR1200-50 installs directly onto the floor surface. For a secure installation, it is recommended to use appropriate adhesive or mechanical fasteners (sold separately) suitable for the floor surface and the raceway's dimensions. The 0.44-inch height allows for easy cable loading through its 2.5-inch width. Ensure the installation area is clean and dry before applying any adhesive. The TAA compliance makes this product suitable for government and certain educational institution projects requiring adherence to trade agreements.
