Description

Middle Atlantic 2989 Non-Metallic Reducing Connector

Overview

The Middle Atlantic 2989 is a non-metallic reducing connector fitting designed to transition between Uniduct 2900-series and 2800-series raceway runs. When a cable management layout requires a step-down from wider 2900-series duct to narrower 2800-series duct — at a panel entry, around a corner, or at a branch point — the 2989 provides a clean, tool-free mechanical connection that maintains the raceway's closed profile and keeps conductors protected. Finished in ivory to match standard Uniduct colorways. TAA-compliant, making it suitable for federal and government-funded installations where Trade Agreements Act conformance is required.

Compatibility

Fits directly between Middle Atlantic Uniduct 2900-series and Uniduct 2800-series non-metallic raceway. Confirmed for use as a 2900-to-2800 reducing fitting. Not intended for metallic raceway, conduit, or third-party duct systems. Verify tee, elbow, and end-cap accessories are sourced from the same Uniduct 2900/2800 fitting family for a flush, gap-free assembly.
