The Middle Atlantic 2989-FW is a non-metallic reducing connector fitting designed to transition between Middle Atlantic Uniduct 2900-series and 2800-series raceway and cord cover runs. Where a cable pathway steps down in size — at a branch point, panel entry, or trough junction — the 2989-FW closes the gap cleanly without leaving an open fitting edge that can abrade cable jackets or trap debris. The fog white finish matches standard Uniduct installations in commercial interiors. TAA-compliant sourcing makes it eligible for federal and government-contract projects requiring domestic or trade-agreement procurement.
Designed for use within the Middle Atlantic Uniduct 2900 series, specifically as a reducing connector fitting between 2900-series and 2800-series non-metallic raceway components. Confirm channel dimensions of both the larger 2900 run and the smaller 2800 run before ordering — this fitting bridges those two specific series. Not interchangeable with metallic raceway systems or other manufacturer's duct profiles. Pair with compatible cable management accessories from the same Uniduct line for a continuous, matched installation.
