Description

Middle Atlantic PN10F86V Drop Ceiling Cable Connector

Overview

The Middle Atlantic PN10F86V is an ivory polyvinyl drop ceiling connector from the PN10 Series, designed to route cables cleanly through suspended ceiling tiles into rack enclosures or wall-mounted equipment below. In commercial AV, security, and structured cabling installs, unmanaged cable penetrations through drop ceilings create code issues and an unprofessional finish — the PN10F86V closes that gap with a purpose-built fitting that keeps runs organized at the ceiling plane. The ivory finish blends with standard commercial ceiling tile without requiring paint or additional cover plates.

Compatibility

Designed for use with Middle Atlantic PN10 Series cable management pathways and raceways. The concentric 1/2" and 3/4" trade-size knockouts accommodate the most common conduit and flex sizes used in low-voltage cabling runs — including CAT6, coax, and multi-conductor security cable — without requiring a separate reducer. Verify raceway series compatibility before ordering; this connector is specific to the PN10 family and is not a universal fitting across all Middle Atlantic raceway lines.

Installation Notes

The concentric knockout design means you punch only what the cable diameter requires — leave the inner knockout intact for smaller cables (1/2" trade) or remove it entirely for 3/4" trade conduit. Polyvinyl construction keeps the fitting lightweight and easy to trim if a non-standard ceiling thickness requires adjustment. No special tools required beyond a standard knockout punch or utility knife for the concentric rings. Consult local fire and building codes for plenum-rated requirements before installing in air-handling ceiling spaces — verify whether additional plenum-rated fittings or cable types are mandated for your jurisdiction when routing through drop ceiling cable management systems.
