Overview
The APC by Schneider Electric DDCC6-050 is a 50-foot (15.24 m) UTP Cat6 network cable extender designed for extending existing Ethernet runs. This female-to-female RJ-45 coupler is suitable for connecting two patch cables in environments where a longer cable run is required without replacing the entire cable, such as in surveillance system installations or office network expansions.
Compatibility
This cable functions as a passive extension for standard Ethernet networks. It is compatible with any network device or system utilizing standard RJ-45 connectors and Cat6 or lower category Ethernet cabling, including most IP cameras, NVRs, switches, and network-attached storage (NAS) devices. Its female-to-female termination ensures it can connect two male RJ-45 patch cables.
Installation Notes
The DDCC6-050 operates within a temperature range of -15°C to 45°C and can be stored between -15°C to 45°C. It is rated for operation and non-operation altitudes up to 3000 meters. The cable jacket is constructed from Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Relative humidity tolerance is 0-95% non-condensing for both operation and storage. Compliance includes RoHS and UL certification, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
