Description

APC by Schneider Electric DDCC6-060 Network Cable RJ-45 F/f 60FT UTP CAT6

Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric DDCC6-060 is a 60-foot (18.29 m) unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Category 6 network cable coupler. It's designed to extend existing network cable runs by connecting two female RJ-45 terminated cables together. This is particularly useful in surveillance or automation deployments where a pre-installed cable might be slightly short of the required length for a camera, access point, or control module, avoiding the need to re-run entirely new, longer cables.

Compatibility

This coupler is compatible with all standard Ethernet network devices and cables that utilize RJ-45 connectors. It supports data rates up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) over its rated length when paired with Cat6 or higher-rated cabling. It functions with any network infrastructure requiring Cat6 performance, including standard IP cameras, network switches, and access control panels.

Installation Notes

The operating and storage temperature range for this coupler is -15 to 45 °C, with relative humidity tolerance from 0-95%. It is rated for operation up to 3000 meters altitude. The cable jacket is constructed from Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Certifications

This coupler meets RoHS compliance and is UL certified, ensuring it meets safety and environmental standards for deployment in commercial and industrial environments.
