Description

APC by Schneider Electric DDCC6-025 Network Cable RJ-45 F/f 25FT UTP CAT6

Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric DDCC6-025 is a 25-foot, Category 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) network cable designed for reliable data transmission in IP-based surveillance and IT infrastructure deployments. This cable terminates in RJ-45 female connectors on both ends, facilitating direct connections between network devices or extending existing cable runs without signal degradation for standard Ethernet applications.

Compatibility

This Category 6 cable is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 standards and supports all IEEE 802.3 standards, including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet). It is suitable for connecting IP cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), switches, routers, and other network-enabled devices requiring a stable Ethernet connection. Use this cable to extend existing runs or patch between equipment in server rooms, network closets, or surveillance system installations.

Installation Notes

The UTP construction provides flexibility and ease of installation in conduit or cable trays. For optimal performance and to maintain the Category 6 rating, avoid sharp bends exceeding a 90-degree angle and ensure connectors are properly seated. The 25-foot length is ideal for shorter patch runs or extending connections within a single rack or a small workspace.
