Overview
The AR100 is a 13U enclosed wall-mount rack designed for edge deployments where floor space is unavailable — IDF closets, small server rooms, retail back-of-house, and distributed surveillance equipment rooms. The threaded-hole vertical mounting rails follow the EIA-310E standard, so standard 19-inch rackmount equipment drops in without adapter hardware. At 24.8 inches deep, the AR100 accommodates full-depth 1U switches, patch panels, and NVRs that a shallow-depth wall enclosure would reject. The glass front door keeps equipment visible for status-light checks without opening the enclosure, and the IP20 dust-resistant rating is appropriate for conditioned indoor spaces. Stationary load capacity is 200 lb, which covers a fully populated 13U shelf with typical network and surveillance gear. RoHS and EIA-310E certifications confirm regulatory and dimensional compliance for commercial installations.
Compatibility
The AR100 accepts any standard network video recorder, PoE switch, patch panel, or UPS chassis with a 19-inch EIA-310E rackmount profile up to 13U total. It is part of the APC by Schneider Electric NetShelter WX wall-mount enclosure line. Rack-mount accessories sized for standard 19-inch rails — cable management panels, blanking panels, power distribution units — install directly on the threaded vertical rails without conversion brackets. For a full wall-mount rack deployment pairing this enclosure with a compatible PoE switch and patch panel, verify that individual component depths do not exceed 24.8 inches.
Installation Notes
The enclosure ships at 113 lb and packages to 29 × 28 × 25 inches — plan for two-person handling during wall anchoring. Wall anchor selection must be matched to wall construction type and local load requirements; the enclosure itself does not ship with wall anchors. Confirm stud or structural backing can support the 113 lb enclosure weight plus up to 200 lb of populated equipment. The 24.8-inch depth requires wall clearance behind the mounting surface; recess or stand-off mounting may be needed in tight corridors.
