With 18 NEMA 5-15R outlets — 9 accessible from the front, 9 from the rear — the PD-1815R-RN eliminates the cable-management headaches that come with single-sided strips when you're wiring a mix of NVRs, switches, and encoders in the same rack. The 9 ft, 14 AWG NEMA 5-15P power cord reaches most rack-room panels without an extension. A 15A circuit breaker provides overload protection, and 2-stage surge suppression with EMI filtering keeps transients off sensitive electronics without requiring a separate filter unit.

Compatibility

The PD-1815R-RN fits any standard 19-inch EIA rack in horizontal or vertical orientation via its 2 mounting points. It pairs directly with Middle Atlantic rack enclosures and rack systems — including the Essex, BGR, and ERK series cabinets — where consistent outlet depth and cable routing are part of the cabinet design. NEMA 5-15R outlets support standard 15A plugs used across the majority of commercial network video recorders, PoE switches, access control panels, and encoders deployed in North American security installations. At 4 inches deep and 1U tall, it installs in shallow AV racks and full-depth server cabinets alike. Not rated for 20A devices — if any component in the rack draws more than 15A or uses a NEMA 5-20P plug, route that load to a separate 20A circuit.
